Healthy Veggie Dip I’m always on the lookout for healthy vegetable dips. Some of my favourites are this Creamy Vegetable Dip or this Seven Layer Greek Dip. I’m so excited to share this veggie yoghurt dip with you today because it’s full of healthy stuff! It’s made with plain yoghurt, spinach, carrots and onions and has less than 50 calories per serving!
I love spinach dip, but I know a lot of it is junk food, so I’ve wanted to try a few things to lighten up the classic spinach dip, and I think the best way to go is to decrease fat and increase vegetables. !
So that’s exactly what I did. However, with the onion, garlic, and carrot sautéed together, NOTHING is lacking in flavour! It’s super delicious!

How To Make This Healthy Yogurt Veggie Dip
- Cut the carrots and onions into tiny pieces (I like to use a food processor for this).
- Chop the baby spinach and sauté in a nonstick skillet until softened.
- Remove the spinach from the pan and use paper towels to squeeze out any extra moisture. Could you put it in a small mixing bowl?
- In the same pan, add the olive oil, garlic, onion and carrots and sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the carrot and onion mixture to the bowl with the spinach and mix well. Leave to cool for about 10 minutes.

- I like to pair this sauce with carrots, multigrain tortilla chips or pita chips. You can also try it with pretzels, crackers, or cooler veggies.

Either way, you don’t have to rely on store-bought products. At home, you can use whole foods to create varieties that are just as tasty but much more nutritious.
Ranch Greek Yoghurt Dip
Using Greek yoghurt as a base for the sauce is an easy way to boost the nutrients in your snack.

This recipe makes about four servings and tastes similar to ranch dressing. You can serve it with celery and carrot sticks.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225 grams) of plain Greek yoghurt
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
- salt to taste
Directions:
- Whisk the Greek yoghurt, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, and parsley in a small bowl.
- Taste, add salt as desired, and enjoy.
Honey mustard
Honey mustard is a delicious sandwich spread and a fantastic topping for chicken and vegetables.
Plus, making it at home is incredibly easy, and you can eliminate the unhealthy ingredients that store-bought varieties contain.
You’ll need to use mustard as a base, so look for varieties that don’t contain additives. Alternatively, you can create your own.
White vinegar. Cover and store at room temperature for two days before serving.
The honey mustard recipe below makes about four servings.
How to Store Veggie Dip?
Storing: This veggie dip will keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. We recommend pressing saran wrap on top of it to create a seal, so it doesn’t get a film on top of it
Freezing: You can’t freeze this vegetable dip. Yoghurt does not freeze well and can separate.
Make ahead: You can make this veggie dip ahead of time if you bring it to a party. It will hold up just fine in the refrigerator.

In addition, there are no ingredients that are difficult to find. Perhaps the least common is brewer’s yeast (if you are celiac, use nutritional yeast) that they already have in any supermarket. In addition to having a million properties, it gives a great touch to sauces.
