In Greek mythology, the goddess Klotho spins the thread of human life. As one of the Three Fates, she works alongside her sisters to shape the destiny of every mortal on Earth.
Modern science doesn’t allow researchers to control a person’s fate.
But, as Jay Campbell has learned, certain proteins can rebuild the trajectory of a user’s life.
“Whether it’s maintaining the physical performance of an elite athlete, having the cognitive performance of a sharp 20-something in finance, or being able to prevent all lifestyle illnesses from happening, human optimization is what we seek,” says Campbell, co-founder of health optimization company BioLongevity Labs.
“We’re not quite there yet,” he continues.
“But the best peptides for anti-aging are the closest thing we have to a ‘Fountain of Youth’ in the current biomedical Golden Age.”
One of the most fascinating of these is a so-called “anti-aging protein” named after the goddess Klotho.
Like most peptides, Klotho doesn’t have just one mechanism of action.
It offers protection against inflammation and oxidative stress by helping to rid the body of senescent cells, both of which may cause major damage to DNA and various biological and organ systems.
This versatile protein shows potential for lifespan extension and protection against age-related decline.
Its protective effects on the brain and cardiovascular system promise to help researchers study healthspan in old age.
When Jay Campbell teamed up with Josh Felber to start BioLongevity Labs, the two aimed to help everyday people improve their day-to-day health with bioregulators and peptides.
BioLongevity Labs isn’t an enterprise attempting to keep up with the competition.
Instead, Campbell, Felber, and their biochemical formulation team, led by Chief Science Officer Bryan Moskow, focus on building innovative products designed to optimize the health of their clients.
In the next several weeks, BioLongevity Labs is planning to unveil a handful of new (and revolutionary) products.
One is the company’s own modified version of the Klotho protein.
When working to build peptides and other products, the BioLongevity Labs team dives into research and works to create a product that goes above and beyond.
“It’s a patented, modified version of the recombinant Klotho protein,” says Campbell of the company’s latest development.
“Our Klotho is a patent-pending version of Klotho with an albumin binder to significantly extend the half-life while improving systemic efficacy and absorption.”
BioLongevity Labs has seen a dramatic increase in customer inquiries as Klotho’s launch date nears.
Campbell says currently, the company is looking to release its Klotho product on November 25, the Tuesday of Black Friday week.
Why then?
Black Friday week is the perfect time to show would-be consumers that a new product is accessible.
Many buyers experienced with peptides know that when a new compound hits the market, prices tend to stay high for weeks, months, or even longer.
By scheduling Klotho’s launch to coincide with one of the country’s best-known bargain weeks, Campbell hopes to draw the attention of existing BioLongevity Labs clients and new researchers alike.
“We will be selling it for a very affordable cost,” he says.
”That cost becomes even more affordable with Black Friday/Cyber Monday discounts.”
Whether researchers are picking up peptides for the first time or adding to an existing regimen, Campbell hopes Klotho can open their eyes to a brighter, healthier future.
