  2. Tone with an alcohol-free toner to restore the skin’s pH.
  3. Address specific skin concerns with a serum.
  4. Hydrate with a nourishing, non-comedogenic moisturiser to lock in hydration.
  5. Protect yourself from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays to prevent sun damage.


So your first step is to choose a hydrating cleanser. You want a cleaner to remove dirt and oil without disrupting the outer layer of skin.

An excellent ingredient to look for is hyaluronic acid.

Sparks says, “Your facial moisturiser should be nourishing and hydrating, but avoid products that can clog your pores. “So it’s a safe bet to look for “non-comedogenic” on the label.

So believe it or not, acne can happen even with dry skin. A few tips can help you lighten blemishes and moisturise at the same time:

  • avoid heavy products like oil-based lotions, moisturisers, and sunscreens
  • only clean face once a day
  • avoid exfoliation, which can dry out the skin
  • non-drying ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid

Remember that alcohol, dyes, and fragrances can irritate sensitive skin. It is best to look for non-comedogenic products.

Best all-natural Skincare Routine for Dry Skin

There are many natural remedies for it; some work very well for the face.
